Kahvi #244: Crackle Creations / Eros

The last release before Kahvi v3 goes live, and this time we have (yet another) guest artist. In a similar style to the much popular 'Zilent Zpott' or 'Cardamar', Eros is fringing on the commercial side of the electronic music Kahvi releases. Easy listening, easy to get into, nice to work to, Crackle Creations have produced a very nice 6 track ep for your listening pleasure. Track of choice : 'Water Mist'. Enjoy!

Margrave Ruediger - Back To Mono Y.033
And if you lose the use of one ear? What would be the sound of the world around you? Back to Mono Emerging at the end of 90s, Margrave Ruediger seems to define itself since its first pieces claimed by an eclecticism and the use of a single sampler with limited possibilities, creating borderline music (electronica, ambient post-industrial, post-rock, pop) and deliberately lo-fi. Thank you all for your support and good listening! Stan http://www.myspace.com/margraveruediger http://www.myspace.com/abyssanetlabel contact promo : abyssa.netlabel[at]gmail.com

mdS released lax-o-mat "Tamoxal - 3x taeglich!"
A jung and fresh producer team from chemnitz/germany will bang your speakers if you are men enough to load this. This brilliant free net-album is a mixture from triphop, drum and base to industrial with voices and pop-influences. We recommend to have Tamoxal 3 times a day! Power from the eastside!

RB031 - Etienne Michelet - Calendaires
Etienne Michelet is a young composer and musician from France. After his self-released works "Bleu Vespéral" and "Le Piano à Coudre (The Sewing-Piano)", this is the first release of his ongoing "Calendaires"-project, which moves in the fields of minimal, ambient, experimental music and classical music.

This "Calendaires"-release contains two parts, both together over 50 minutes long. Part one begins in a very dark context. Deep, growling bass sounds coming to the surface very slowly, bringing some motives and melodies with them. All these parts are layered together to a monumental and threatening wall of sound, which collapses and falls apart into a deep and dark soundscape again. Part two brings more light to the listener. Little chime-pieces lead to a wide field of melodies and sounds rushing around, bringing back memories.

BitJam Music Competition #01
The BitFellas are announcing their first music competition:

Remix Compo Rules:

We have selected 3 great tracks that we feel have great remix possibilities, you may choose only ONE sample set to make your remix with and can only submit ONE tune, so choose wisely!

Your choices are:

  • Firefox & Tip - Musiklinjen

The original tune is a bit of an Amiga classic, coming from the wonderful demo entitled Enigma by Phenomena. This is one of the most instantly recognizable Amiga tracks by Firefox and Tip - its something to do with those chord samples!

  • Little Bitchard - Diskosimulaatio

Little Bitchard has provided us with a big pack of sounds gleaned from his tune from the hilarious Simulaatio2 invitation.

  • Reed - Meet The Family

The original tune is from the wonderful 64k intro from Fairlight released at BP 2006 - its hilarious thinking how many megabytes these samples take up raw (even if you had just the hits its bloody impressive) The intro itself was coded by Smash and made use of his funky 64k softsynth...

MEM-003: Dewi's Dance EP by Serious Prof
It's been awhile since Serious Prof has been around, and this time he provides Mephtik Netlabel with a beautiful and contemplative ambient experience.

Dark, twisted, serene, and throbbing are just a few adjectives that can be used to describe this release. Enjoy!
