Jazz/new age/spiritual artist Steven Buckner releases the Darkness Into Light EP on Mephtik Netlabel, giving listeners a peek into his full-length album by the same name. The release focuses on his jazz compositions, sounding silky smooth and making use of live recorded session artists.
Tensegrity, an album by the artist named % manages the difficult task to rejuvinate the mo'wax/ninja tune hip-hop vibe that used to be so big in the 1990s. Twenty songs made with the mlr v software and the monome input device, mixing the sound of vintage synths and the complex beat/bass interlocking patterns enabled by digital computers.
It has been created originally for the rpm 2009 competition.
And yes, we at noerror would like to suggest this "classic-sounding" album (we instantly heard influences from black dog to jungle brothers to luke vibert to the odd boards of canada sound) as a must download!

The first 2009 release of Chew-Z is "Slow" by 9cento9 (Marco Milanesio) and it is his second release in our mp3 catalogue.
This new work of 9cento9 is a travel inside deep emotions. "Slow" is a contemporary music composition and it is very hard to describe the music of these strange feeling tracks.
They evolve in a mysterious way and let the listener discover them, as the discovering of a landscape of a hypothetical journey in a land where morphology changes every step the traveller takes.
There is a constant and quite fast evolution of the atmosphere in this ambient music that renders it deconstructed but in the meantime very concise and concrete.
Except for the smallest parts, there is a total absence of loops in favour of a formal research that creates melodies and rhythms using electronic devices with a deep knowledge.
This work is the antithesis of what is considered the current trend of making electronic music in today's day, but these tracks, notwithstanding the artist's skill in sound design are not only a void style exercise, but are also always loaded with self-explaining contents that are deep and warm.
We hope you will enjoy this precious and beautiful new release.

Press Release.
In the year 1982 the japanese manufacturer roland build the legendary tb-303.
Since that year many artists use the freaky tweety sound of this machine
to create a new funky style in house and techno called ACID.
The world wide acid day on 3/03/2009 in honor of the tb-303 is the date for us
to reflect the last decades of this great sound and make a own compilation of acidly tracks.
So listen up: ACID WILL NEVER DIE! :)
