Last year Jemset had 7 digital/netlabel releases and several mixtapes. Audioexit releases now his first release this year. 26- year-old Frenchman continues to evoke the „Detroit-Berlin” line compounded with the contemporary minimal-techno. After his first Audioexit release, Train No.7 now he shows 3 different tracks on his EP. The initial Typhanie is a true minimal-tech, you have to play it loud to receive it. It comes from deep with assertive beats which generates dark, meditative state. After this track (which evokes 90’s Stewart Walker and Mikael Stavöstrand) the second one, Work It is a more dancefloor-oriented piece. Villalobos can come into your mind while you are listening but in this track the tune can’t dominate because of the background noises and distorted human speech. But Document’s (Track No.3) initial tune is a dominant moment. This crooning simply crawls into the structure of the track, which is more deranged by the noises and effects.

With "lbrnm" Jeremy Bible presents his first solo work on Resting Bell. Jeremy is well-known for his project with Jason Henry, his experimedia imprint and for his graphic/photo/video work.
"lbrnm" contains 3 reinterpretations of a koen park-piece titled "laburnum" originally released on the highly recommended "grey night clouds" release on experimedia. The original work sounds very clean, deep and calming. It is dominated by a own heartbeat, created with a higher "gong" tone and a subtle beat, giving the piece a very specific structure.
The reinterpretations by Jeremy break this structure. He slightly shifts some elements further into the background, accents other elements, fills in some easeful parts and carefully adds some very, very gentle field-recordings, glitches and sounds. You can still hear the old elements and find some links to the basic material, but new atmospheres emerge from the original sources in these three pieces. A bit more drone, dustier, rustier, and more open.
The original track is a great ambient-electronic-work. And with these three re-workings by Jeremy, you can get further perspective into this wonderful material.

Back again to bring the chill to your blood vessels is the one we call Waveform. Waveform brings us with him on his journey through deep rooted harmonic structures that are often hidden by hypnotic vertigo background type sounds. These are the deep tech sounds that one thinks of when they are walking alone in the outskirts of metro Detroit on a very cold chilly day, as the late PM approaches. Suitably soft melodies are beautiful but at the same time gritty and soulful. These tunes make you truely appreciate the little non-tangible blessing we take for granted everyday. The freedom we have to think, explore, and express ourselves. We thank you Waveform. You are beautiful and so is your art. Enjoy!!!
