From the playground out of the bedroom window, new people were looking for cardboard boxes, cheap MOTs, bargain CDs. Everyone had left town, seen endless speed bumps near the sounds of kids and traffic, asleep in the day, broken teeth, bad pop posters, no pockets.
More one way traffic, two dusty attics or the smell of bleach, falling tents and perimeter fences, loud shaking journeys north, a bed on a car, a mattress, the wrong sound/the right sound.

This fifteenth release for Fresh Poulp is the story of two guys, the french Rafiralfiro and the spanish [wini] 2.0, loving eachother's music, and willing to share and to mix their identity and their musical skills. After a first and decisive meeting in Alicante ( Spain ) in early fall 2007, they decided to set a live collaboration as soon as possible, startin with a gig in Paris in the first days of 2008. This event could have been cancelled, requested by a pseudo-collective (Amaze) that didn't respond to their responsability, but it finally happened due to the restlessness of the two artists. This recording is the product of a week of intensive musical preparation to blend their style into one homogenic alloy, cruising from hip-hop to electro, filled with latin explosions and oriental dubby moods…
Specials thanks to Favela Chic's crew and the fans for their support - We'd also like to boo Amaze's crew for its lack of responsability and humanity.
Chimera's first year anniversary is approaching. Almost one year ago we released our inaugural pack, "Unleashing the Chimera", a diverse compilation of tunes by our musicians. So it's high time for another group-wide collaboration, again featuring diverse high-quality material. We are happy to present you "Stratosphere"! Featuring material in various styles by Okeanos, MrGamer, Alpha Centauri, JvK, John Marwin, and Rayko. Of course available in both native module and MP3 formats!
«The dazzling state before the magnanimous perspective of space is something that affects most people. The infinite, the fascinating void… the senses numbed by the impossibility to explain everything that surrounds us… these are the first images that ‘Light Years’ - a new release by Lee Rosevere – awake in our mind. Lee has been releasing his works mostly through his own label Happy Puppy Records and a few others like my good friend Adam’s Proc-Records.
The beginning of this work starts with a drone that moves around within minimal frequencies, as if it was the soundtrack of a voyage through space and everything it represents – the emptiness and the fullness. Micro-tonalities gravitate and leave us in static before the sound waves that fill the universe. The cosmos, nebulae and aurora borealis saw through a sonic telescope made of abstract frequencies, that could prolong into eternity like a Buddha Machine. In ‘Onyx’, time advances at light speed only to land in a future inhabited by machines, cold magnetic sounds that collide with the dirty steel of robots. All the speeches are strange, indefinite, leaving behind only minimalisms which end up dominating us in an almost hypnotic manner. An invasion with license to travel (to dream)…»
