Sephirot is a young talent based in Leeds and Bristol. As well as the inevitable south-west connection, his sound draws on hip hop, wonky, soul, skwee and klezmer to create a melting pot of crazy synth leads, key changes and soaring vocals. For fans of Joker, Floating Points, Harmonic 313, Flying Lotus and J Dilla.

Being one of the founders of Mixgalaxy Records, Cubic is also one of it’s most interesting and talented artists. His music is always full of energy and expression and any compilation barely can make it without his contribution. Original style has guaranteed him a place of the first author to release his own Extended Play on Mixgalaxy Records. It turned out to be 23 minutes of frolic drum’n'bass, evil darkstep and breaks, including one collaboration with another wicked artist from our label – TContenental, so it’s sure not gonna get boring.

Carl Sagan’s Ghost "At The End Of It All"
Carl Sagan’s Ghost is a project of american composer Daniel Davis. The focus is on the ambient side of electronic music and the latest output, titled “At The End Of It All” is certainly no exception. Carefully designed and constructed, sonic landscapes you can drown yourself in completely. For a moment, listening to multiple layers of sounds echoing in spacious environments, discovering new subtle nuances on the sounds can easily transport you to a place, where you can completely forget the surrounding world momentarily. Just put on the headphones, find a comfortable position and switch off the lights. Also recommended, the previous album “Darkness and the Light” on the Earth Mantra netlabel. Some thoughts from the artist behind the sounds:
“Initially, this album was supposed to be an atmospheric celebration of spring and summer, something warm, something happy. However, that didn’t quite pan out. As I began to compose and then finalize these compositions, I noticed that the album was taking on a darker tone. What I ended up with was an album that seemed to contemplate death, although I don’t think the album is overly depressing. It is somber, but there is still a hint of hope and happiness in a number of songs.”

A while back a podcast only release was featured by Acrilic Colors. Yves Klein Blue was the result of a brainstorming session, and was only intended for release as a single long mix. I liked the podcast so much, I asked Acrilic Colors to produce an ep full release, and here we have the result.
Some of the tracks are shorter than usual but also two completely new tracks have been added to give you half an hour of excellence that we're used to as heard in his previous releases.
Some background information about the new tracks written by Acrilic:
Saturn Orange and White Chalk - 'My personal tribute to the minimalist ambient pianist Harold Budd, as background soundtrack of a poem I wrote decades ago, centred around an orange sunset while a distant airplane leaves a thin bright-white trail in the blue sky'
Icarus' Feathers - 'Taking Icarus as an emblem of mans dream of flying. Is Icarus dreaming or is it real? After a short semi-ethnic intro (daydream), Icarus starts to fly over green lands, breathing the clean air and feeling the freedom he longed for, weightless through white fluffy clouds. But after some minutes the wax begins to melt and he starts to plunge in whirls. Just a white feather on the shore, swept away by calm waters, remains of that "dream".
