Weirdandwired Release No. 6 [WaW006] - Sophistication sampled to a decent sexiness: that’s the french – or, more specifically: the Bazaar- way of being modern without being modernistic. Within a layer of carefully constructed atmosphere you'll find teasingly hypnotic beats. Sometimes they are hidden, sometimes they'll jump right into your face and stick to your ears. There is an edgy smoothness about this album, or a smooth edginess, which makes it the perfect soundtrack to any kind of seduction. It’s like champagne: works with anything but it's a pity to opt for it ONLY on special occasions... Produced and played by Fred Debief.
It's been more than 2 years since Weltjugendtag took place, and year and a half since the track with the same name was released on DoBox Recordings. Weltjugendtag or "World's Youth Day" is a story for everyone who's willing to open up and except what his future has to offer to him. 4 remixes on this EP are only a proof that everyone can be a part of Weltjugendtag, never mind the age, race, home country… 1 track, remixed by 4 producers = 4 masterpieces painted with the same colour scheme on the same silk and paper with a different approach. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.. the first day of the rest of your friend’s life and people’s around you lives… It’s never too late to give. Millions of people are around you… just waiting for something or someone. So, are you ready to be brave, to take the dare and do the next step?
If you are… Welcome to Weltjugendtag!
bLURiX - Weltjugendtag (bLURiX Remix) - experimental and melodical action from the creator of the original piece with experimental approach to melodies from the original
bLURiX - Weltjugendtag (Davor's Little Game Remix) - ambient idm-ish track but very euphoric with continuous build-up to gain the optimum attention in a best Squarepusher style
bLURiX - Weltjugendtag (Perfect Blind's Deconstructed Drift) - trailer style track with deconstructed melodies, sounds like Perfect Blind had a prefect vision of soundtrack for Silent Hill.
bLURiX - Weltjugendtag (DraCo's Queasy Play) - dirty electro-dnb-breakbeat-broken beat influenced track with some trancy and twistedly distorted synths from the original mix overlooked by the dark and claustrophobic synths and sweeps in the background.
Artist: Dino Felipe Title: Kinks - ep #ca057 Date: 2007-10-08 Keywords: experimental, abstract, glitch Tracklist: 1 - death for 5 computers - 5:19 (320 kbps) 2 - we're on a road to nowhere - 5:58 (320 kbps) 3 - dragging elves into 3d - 4:29 (320 kbps) 4 - break inn - 3:32 (320 kbps) 5 - broom closet - 3:27 (320 kbps) 6 - nair - 3:55 (320 kbps) 7 - wave-graver - 2:45 (320 kbps) 8 - 3rd ear musik (encore for maryanne amacher) - 4:34 (320 kbps) dino's "kinks" EP is a compile of 8 songs; music from 2003-2007. the EP starts with a tribute to carlos gesualdo, a remix of werner herzog's documentary "death for five voices". the songs range from rhythmic songs, to ambient songs, and a mix of both. one song dino uses his voice as he has been doing more often lately. the EP ends with what maryanne amacher calls "3rd ear music", as a tribute he decided to attempt to make this sine wav related 3rd ear music, and it kind of worked.. when you listen to this song remember: this does not damage your ears, its making music in your ears! a great trick coined by maryanne amacher....." dino felipe began playing with music since the age of six. (he still has those tapes!). he slowly evolved from making "rock" music,to what now people call "noise" music in 1996 with his bands: FKTRN, Hair & Nails, Old Bombs, all being released on limited cassettes at the time. then one day his four track broke and was forced into buying a computer (which he was highly against at the time)... put this all in a blender and look what happened! www.dinofelipe.com www.myspace.com/dinofelipe
[muerte008] Calcutta Bubbles - *CBS*-They Remix After the first release "Burgertronic", Calcutta Bubbles release "*CBS*-They Remix", their second work, out as a coproduction between Muertepop rec. and Peteran rec.
