Implosion Quintet is actually a one man show, James Baker, a very talented freelance designer, iIllustrator and musician, who produces mellow and rare beats accompanied by melodies coming from all sorts of instruments. Sometimes enriched by beautiful and haunting vocals, James creates a theatrical lounge atmosphere for the listener to enjoy, making this the most organic - in terms of sound - digilog release to date. IQ's melodies will stick in your head and turn into an obsession, making you want to listen to this ep over and over again.
A word from the artist: This mini album is essentially a collection of transitional material from 2006, seeing IQ move away from more standard instrumental hip hop territory into something more experimental. The fine gentlemen of Digilog, for some reason, deemed it releasable, and so you, my friend, sit here reading this in a state of mild bemusement. Other similarly deluded but kindly souls are UK label Cookshop , through whom IQ have a number of small-scale releases. The author politely suggest that this little monstrosity is best enjoyed with a glass of single malt, a decent cigar and a monocle.
Noerror is a project born in early 2000. Its first purpose was to relate some of the most famous demoscene music releases, it extended to all the active demoscene netlabels and finally all the netlabels, no disctinction. Just talent and beautiful music is now the word.
