Finnish Pop Sensation serves five tracks of lazy, introvert, ironic and ambiquous downscaled triphop-krautpop-downtempo-chillout fusion with less or more processed broken english vocals. A little bit of Air, a little bit of Can, a little bit of Humane and a little bit of cosmic disco. Tracklist: 1. Rising Sun 2. Back In Time 3. Whatever Happened To Mr. Jones 4. Burn Me 5. Coming Home

We are pleased to announce that Serious Prof (formerly known as prof) has teamed up with mephtik.net.
Serious Prof, or Professor Lysloff, teaches ethnomusicology at the University of California Riverside, and was previously a member of the short-lived group Quanta (founded by epoq). Since that time five years ago, Prof has vastly improved upon his craft, which is immediately noticable from listening to his debut release.
Sub215 - "Dreaming Redlands" by Serious Prof
This eight minute masterpiece is a musical journey that is truly not long enough. Serious Prof combines electronic and ambient elements to create a beautiful soundscape that I can best describe as sounding similar to Thomas Newman's work. If you download one piece of music from mephtik this year, make it this track. I'm confident you won't be disappointed.
Another batch of three new releases are now available, happy halloween:
The first one by our good friend and master of drone ambiences Rngmnn, a small ep called know your city, dark ambient at it's best.
The second new release on enough is by Turmoil, Last Rites of Amduscias, paying tribute to the demon amduscias the grand duke of hades who gave concerts at the command of men. Cheers to Tom and Holly Magio for their contribution.
The third release is by megatone with a mini album called first space voyage, a new Moldovan friend of ours exploring the mystical side of minimal electronics.

Electro? Post Rock? Alternative House? LoFi? Grunge? Game music? 80s? Progressive? How in the world do you clasify 3x!13?! What's for sure is that this best of album contains a healthy dose of character and a whole lot of chutspa. This is the real deal, underground music like it should be. 3x!13 reaches down into each and every one of us. These tunes contain some of the sweetest melodies since Zelda came out and changed the course of humanity, as well as vague, catchy, and particularly smart lyrics.
rain. exploded shards. treeline outline greay. music by numbers in mud by feet, feel out the sound by sight. popping inwards while working out wounds in the 2-D monophonic boombox atmosphere. halloween at the 3 year mark, the journey never feeling an end; beginning with every other chord. dry heaves and synthetic textures overlaying the cartoon zombie insides, letting the good turn to bad as it makes way for sleep. as an unnatural fog gathers in the higher corners, the low thumping and bassline takes over the baseboards.
