[EN] Little dubstep experimental EP from US project Sick To The Back Teeth.
In the ancient Rome the plagiarists had theirs divinity: Laverna. Through the centuries her divine power has exerted all his influence and the plagiarism has become form of art. The free circulation of the music, the free-software, the file-sharing, the copyleft', etc. are considered as plagiarism activities. 'sampling', 'cut-up', 'wave manipulation', f.e., are constitutive elements of electronic music. In the early 90th, the introduction of the new electronic sounds has modified the traditional forms of the musical production (anonymity, multiple-name project.. ). The djs become musicians and they're places were on the same level of the listener (the end of the rock-stars!) and eveveryone can become musician, replacing classical theory with the new technique and a new sensibility. then the important thingh was the ideas, and not the name of the author. Laverna.net is part of red planet community, underground music project connected to the local circle of 'self-production'. In noth-east Italy since 1992, we have build self-made live events, electronic party and radio broadcasts. We are interested on a large area of electronic sound: ambient, IDM-experimental, techno-house and breakbeat. We have a mind to get up creative energies inside an 'open channel' and set up the diffusion of good electronic music from our zone. In this first time we are picking up the best electronic productions from our local scene. Subsequently we have in project to work on an only global dimension centering in more precise way the sonorities of our releases. Always with the same 'copyleft' attitude.. Electronic music lives as in an enormous community in which everyone contributes to develop an idea or a sound. As in an gigantic remix, the Techno is an only big track without end that we are still developing.
ITA: Il tema è la memoria, ma intesa come articolazione tra dati "puri" e dimensione emotiva, tra supporti tecnici e vita umana. Le memorie elettroniche personali contengono enormi quantità di informazioni e supportano la memoria relativa alla nostra vita. Ma in che modo influenzano il ricordo? La sua dimensione emotiva viene in qualche modo condizionata o alterata da questi supporti esterni? L'immaginario umano si costruisce su un orizzonte che è quello del proprio spazio e del proprio tempo e anche il ricordo del passato è "filtrato" da questo immaginario attuale e dalle suggestioni estetiche della tecnica. Il paesaggio (urbano) e il senso estetico sono l'uno il prodotto dell'altro. Dunque anche il suono ne risulta contaminato. E il suono "elettronico", più che essere il risultato dell'utilizzo di synth o strumenti non elettro-acustici, è il prodotto di questo immaginario contemporaneo. E' un modo di sentire le cose, oggi. Prima release ufficiale del progetto Molven, evoluzione di "matera electronics", che ha inaugurato le uscite della nostra label nel 2004. Il suono è tra ambient/IDM e classica elettronica "analogica" e si sviluppa seguendo linee e manipolazioni che arrivano a sporcarlo e "decostruirlo". Vari pattern si incastrano tra loro all'interno di un quadro sonoro cupo e dilatato in cui l'impronta "ipnotica" convive con la dimensione melodica. Un paesaggio del futuro o un ritorno a quello originario? ENG: this music is about our greatest memories transformed into music. some memories are short, some are longer. some feel confusing, some you cannot describe with words. some feel beautiful, some feel sad. it tries to rebuild the flavour of those special days, that nothing can really archive, but music. you cannot touch this music, you cannot hold it in your hands. the only way to get this music is to feel it. ITA: Questa musica parla dei nostri più bei ricordi trasformandoli in suoni. Alcuni sono piccoli ricordi, altri sono più a lungo termine. Alcuni sono confusi, altri non si possono descrivere con le parole. Alcuni sono delle belle sensazioni, altri sono tristi ricordi. Cerco di ricostruire il sapore di quei giorni speciali, ma nulla li può veramente ricordare, tranne la musica. Non puoi toccarla, questa musica, non è possibile tenerla in mano. l'unico modo per poterne godere è quello di ascoltarla.
ENG: Enrico Coniglio here is investigating the different shades of Ambient music, with a particular reference to the soundscapes of the Venice lagoon, according to a narrative and imaginative point of view. This work is focused on the relationship between 'music' and 'landscape', in an attempt to represent the crisis of the contemporary territory, the loss of naturalness and identity of places, and the unknown on the evolution of post-urban and post-industrial landscape. Instruments: guitars, farfisa microrgan, hydrophone, binaural stereo mic, computer programming. ITA: Partendo da un'iniziale bisogno di sperimentare le diverse forme della Ambient music, con particolare riferimento ai suoni della laguna di Venezia secondo un punto di vista narrativo e immaginifico, la ricerca di Enrico Coniglio si focalizza sul rapporto tra 'musica' e 'paesaggio', nel tentativo di rappresentare la crisi del territorio contemporaneo, la perdita di naturalità e di identità dei luoghi, e l'incertezza dell'evoluzione del paesaggio post-urbano e post-industriale.
Noerror is a project born in early 2000. Its first purpose was to relate some of the most famous demoscene music releases, it extended to all the active demoscene netlabels and finally all the netlabels, no disctinction. Just talent and beautiful music is now the word.
