One of the most outlandish and experimental artists to feature on Kahvi returns with a small exerpt of his full length album 'Perserverance'.
Aleksi is, as I probably said before, verging on the genius with his out of tune, apparently random melodies, but yet.. they actually work quite well.
The tracks featured here are a small personally selected bunch of the more mellow and chilled tracks, still with the 'randomness', still with the completely original construction. Download the full album here: http://www.cncd.fi/aeeben/music/perseverance/ Track of choice: Kiruna. Enjoy!
This is a new release that has had some confusion when it was initially released a little over a week ago, it was promoted under the name 'Daniel Doiel'. That name, however, is incorrect. It is an experimental dance album and the name of the artist is 'David Doiel'.
In perfect time for the summer, 0 musicians releases his long-awaited debut album "Play" on 23 Seconds. In a cool, minimalistic style, 0 musicians guides us through his unique soundscapes. Cool ambient downbeats, piano-based chill-outs, clubby tunes and groovy electronica. The album is soaked in high quality and strong melodies and we are proud to release it here on 23 Seconds! Enjoy!

Originally two different EPs, they have been transformed into one. It is difficult to assign a specific genre to each track because they were made without limits to any style of music. Each track has a target to its tune and gives you a special wave of mood.
Jimmy Behan released his debut album 'Days Are What We Live In' in 2004 before taking time out to study for a Masters in Music & Media Technologies from Trinity College, where his thesis focused on the compositional possibilities of creative sampling techniques. Currently, his work focuses on finding emotional connections between the physicality of sounds and their contexts. The physical characteristics of sounds (dynamics, texture and space) are explored via a range of processes before determining the emotional tone of a piece. The 'In the Sudden Distance EP' attempts to capture that moment when the present suddenly becomes the past, rendering the passing of time as a sudden shift in perspective. Recorded around the time of a relocation to his home town after 16 years, it revolves around themes of change, memory and redemption. With this concept work Jimmy brings Zymogen to a higher level in the exploration of electronic soundscapes.
