Introduced to Monotonik by long-time friend Tim Koch, Bird Lantern comprises Greig Thomson and Al Thumm from Adelaide, and 'DuD' is a delightfully loop-centric EP that reminds vaguely of laid-back compatriots The Avalanches, but artfully mixed with a whole raft of guitar-based, hiphop, and sample-heavy influences. Opener 'Phasers' is scrappy hiphop loops with odd spoken word snippets dotted all over it, whereas 'Sweet Papa Fridge' is wah wah and low-key funk all over the shop.
After some time here we are again! Release no.99 is waiting for your ears. The trance-style track "Universe" is composed by our polish member Maxus. Downloadable @ our website.

Like Saturn Devours His Children is a successor to previous Trailing Space album, Bring The Darkness Over This Place (2006). It is an instrumental story of revolutions, manipulation, gullibility and consequences. On this album guitars give even more space for the piano and strings, but also for more electronic expression, creating an inspiring mixture of post-rock, ambient and film music. Music on this album have been used for a theatrical performance and will be featured also in the next feature-length film by Karahka Tuotanto. The album cover is a detail from Saturn by Goya from the Black Paintings series. Tracklist: 1. Those In Favor Rise Their Revolution (or The Opening Of The Divine Play) 2. Sa Majesté (or Skinful of Your Nothingness) 3. Empty Windows (or The Beautiful Mouth Speaks Empty Words) 4. Prophets Of The Sky (or The Fathers Of Tomorrow) 5. The Followers of The Mars (or The Great Overwhelming Denial) 6. Danton's Death (or A Funeral for The Virtues) 7. Principia Ethica (or Comatose Ever After)
Zainetica ‘Future 740′ (XSN014) is officially available. It features five tracks of beautiful atmospheric IDM in the vein of Amber-period Autechre. Future 740 explores the domain of past futures… of the nows that might have been vs. the now that is here. The nostalgia for future dreams of past generations made into vibrations and patterns. The five tracks on the EP take the listener through a guided tour of yesterday’s futureland. Zainetica is Mark Streatfield, label boss at Rednetic Recordings.

A new release on AudioTong:
Spacious, yet very dense music, filled with voices, drones, synths and samples which create a noisy soundscape and prove perfect understanding between the musicians involved in this project.
A documentation of the only two concerts performed together by these artists. From noise to dub - hard to believe? Then try it - it's really worth your bandwidth.
After the album "krupnyj kino" and the single "when I see" now here is Mir's second Album proper. Eight songs - this time more focused on the voice (Mir as a child was member of the village choir for a lon time) - knit together from material from the last 5 years.
