Nine sonic portraits by Elio Martusciello(ReR Megacorp),Flotel(Expanding), Autistici(12k,Kikapu), Maps and Diagrams(PAUSE_2,Smallfish,Cactus Island), Lawrence English (Room40,Quatermass,Baskaru,Cronica), Salvatore Borrelli aka (etre)(Baskaru), He Can Jog(audiobulb, hippocamp), Gregg Kowalsky aka Ossobuco (Kranky, Nosordo), Motion (12k,Fat Cat).
Can we use sounds to portrait someone? Can we paint using vibrating air to obtain a sound that represents something? What if sound could be used to design features belonging to other sensory spheres? Choosing a particular frequency could help to evocate a thin nose? A granular light? The fragrance of morning after a sunrise full of small rain? The taste of a coffee?
All these questions were contained in a reflection about abstract music sent to nine sound artists and they were asked to start from those question marks to reflect about the possible uses of sound as a representative media. The result are some very different sound portraits, from the biggest eruption of history captured in the drones of italian composer Elio Martusciello(ReR Megacorp) to the processed field recordings of the Mimerlaven mine in Norberg by the Nottingham based Flotel(Expanding), from the free jazz tones of the audio picture of his father in law by Autistici(12k,Kikapu) to the micro rhythms constructed on sounds captured from a Lomo camera by Maps and Diagrams(PAUSE_2,Smallfish,Cactus Island). The other artists who answered this unusual call are Lawrence English (Room40,Quatermass,Baskaru,Cronica), Salvatore Borrelli aka (etre)(Baskaru), He Can Jog(audiobulb, hippocamp), Gregg Kowalsky aka Ossobuco (Kranky, Nosordo) and Motion (12k,Fat Cat) who all gently took part in this challenge.

the "music" section of keith303.de has been updated with the releases of the past six months.
FROST, is slowly covering. Laughing about that "summer". The fall seems to become a myth of another worlds history. Magnetic fields are moving. Seasons are fusioning. We feel that. After "Ceci N'est Pas Beaux Art" (LEGO203; a modern band project) we present you music from a band-player. Michael Hoffmann who usually acts as drummer, "the Metronoman" in several bands and projects. After his last collaboration with Philipp Weigl (Autoplate; APL048) Michael transports his knowladge and experiences from all his jams and studio works as a drummer and producer into a solo "LP" for the first time. The result is a sound-universe conditioned by the dynamics between icy pads, cryptic vocal and field-recording-fragments on the one hand and jazzy keys, funky pitched synths, strings and guitars floating above complex beat structures on the other. Enough words... Tune in if your heart is still beating!

Tsuyoshi Nakamura moves in a dual world where the softness of velvet colored nostalgic dreams is interrupted by a sound sawing that feeds on that light and imprisions it in a labyrinth of voices, sometimes epic, sometimes soothing.
The agressive darkness that embraces us is not so much cold as it is disturbing. More, the psychedelic, sci-fi, disturbance is added through glaciar metalic rhythms and other sound manipulations of static and acid distortion of diverse speed and cadence: from the overwhelming maelstrom to the most languid beats that fit perfectly on the (sef imposed) trip-hop genre.
Using the two sides of the same coin, Tsuyoshi Nakamura shows us sequences that seem opposite, where the hauting plays with the harmonious and where schizophrenia is let eased by sweet and circular melody.

Noerror is a project born in early 2000. Its first purpose was to relate some of the most famous demoscene music releases, it extended to all the active demoscene netlabels and finally all the netlabels, no disctinction. Just talent and beautiful music is now the word.
