Welcome to this, our second compilation and seventh release on the Future State Of Rhythm net label. It's been about 7 months since the release of our first compilation, and with several LP's and EP's under our belt, we felt it was time to give you a snapshot of our evolving sound. When we started the label we had the dream of creating a community of like minded artists who weren't held back by the need to pander to genre or the latest musical fad and 6 releases on that goal is a reality. The tracks on this second compilation cover a wide range of genres, and no two are alike, yet they compliment each other and flow in a way that makes this compilation greater than the sum of its parts. Cagey House’s third Nishi release, Model City, is their strangest yet. It’s spooky, it’s dark, and it’s pretty funny, too. And it’s full of their trademark lo-fi synths, meandering melodies, and clanging percussion. If the Maltese Falcon were remade with animated clocks playing all the roles, Model City could be the soundtrack.
DHS0035 Papin e la perdita dell' uovo Seralf An attempt to turn the golden cover into a lead voice: we should listen to the voice of objects that always know more than us, as mindful shells from distant waters, rich of histories. I simply made use of a sound sample taken from a pot cover of my kitchen, and do quite the entire work on the electronic elaboration of this sample, so "i do the covers, not the pots" (the opposite action from a modern Devil escaped from an italian popular proverb), with a little addition of my voice and a violin voice too. Please hear not here, look without took, don't expect anything you don't know yet don't rewind but don't forget don't look at the finger soon, please look at the ringer moon. I like the cover pots, i don't like the core nuts. Hear the cover voice, near a rover choice: "don't mind the rust, don't rust the mind now is clear all that you'll find". My hat is a mirror, tur(n)ing ideas into c-louds. A lazy cut on a pillow, a screw he's so crazy proud. of. I have a cover, forth one note green about color, for (k)not to one knows. On "Sustain" Braille presents 4 tracks which take you to different settings. And with every listening you explore more layers, more sounds and you hear something new and suprising. Every time. The very first record by Mr. Soul – a band hanging out in Zurich, Switzerland – is out now on Alpinechic. "Here Comes Morning" is the title of the 45rpm 7" single. 291 strictly limited and numbered vinyl-copies and an unlimited amount of mp3s on the iTunes Music-Store will be spread all over the world. The two lost souls, which are now Mr. Soul, met a couple of years ago in a basement in Zurich, where they started to make music with guitars, bass, voice and old electronic devices. Since then they did quite a few gigs mostly in and around their present hometown, planning to conquer the planet.
Noerror is a project born in early 2000. Its first purpose was to relate some of the most famous demoscene music releases, it extended to all the active demoscene netlabels and finally all the netlabels, no disctinction. Just talent and beautiful music is now the word.
