Spastic, heady, and heart wrenchingly silly, "Four Pieces" represents music hate (or love) taken to its furthest conclusions. Not content to merely sample other artists' material, David seeks to (respectfully) skew their original vision, either through flattery or confrontation. Sergey Yakimov from Ekaterinburg, also known as SM and Deadline (as he regularly appears on various ES releases), recorded his most mature album at the moment. Starting with psychedelic techno with crystal-clear synthetic melodies it continues with deep and warmer themes full of syncopated beats and rich ambient dub forms.
And, at the end of the road, we get 6 meritorious remixes, performed in a broad style range: idm, downbeat and the astonishing post-rock apotheosis.

From here to eternity we are left all alone and forgotten. Maybe... We have our guardian angels looking after us and the Grim Reaper himself. Death is looking at the Earth in the future as it's own little kinky playground.
And Death is a gentleman too. It makes good losers of us all. Life is more terrifying and more mysterious. After all; every life is precious. It's only vital to preserve it. And he strongly disagrees with that.
Time lost its relevancy... We came to the point where future cannot be predicted anymore; to the point of no return, no way back... There's only one thing left. The vision that brought us light is fading now... Once and forever.

As promised, Kahvi Collective returns from its summer vacaction with some exclusive material from the one and only Planet Boelex. Previous releases have enjoyed great success; each track having great style, flair and production and most important, each track a mini epic in itself. This time around we have a 'mini-lp' - 44 minutes of blissful works entitled Suunta (Direction) full of beautiful vibes, deep, atmospheric sounds, resounding basses with an analogue twist and those fabulous bleeps that Boelex is reknowned for. Throughout the release the highly polished results of many sleepless nights (right up to the day before release!) are apparent - this is a release to treasure, take a small taster and then dive right in.
