6 drums/percussions/guitar/objects/noises/electro improvisations. "We started playing together at the beginning of 2005. At that time we were influenced by rock music but improvisation has always been our key to work together. The "project tape" was born because when we started playing we had a really poor equipment (karaoke cheap mic for the drum, little 4 track mixer, a tired PC, and a tape recorder). We used to jam for hours and then we selected the best material to put out, mainly on slsk. Now we have increased our equipment and enlarged our influences: the drummer switched on selected percussions, cymbals and home made instruments, Alberto is more focused on Electronic composition and improvisation, the guitarists uses 2 or more guitars sometimes played with various objects. Clivati's influences goes from radical, non-idiomatic improvisation to the NY Avantgarde School as well as Ethnic percussion music and jazz; Alberto is a lover of musique concrete as well as all the others modern composers, the guitarist have no particular influences (he’s just too lazy to think about it...). So, now we still work as an improvising trio with electronics, percussions, and guitars. There’s also the CLAN DUO with percussions and live electronics. We do compose our music useing new and old tecniques. We are developing a lot of different ways to play music, to compose music and to hear it. This year we're goin to release some albums. One is going to come out for CS recordings and maybe another one for a cd-r label. We're also looking for gigs and installations. Some future projects are a Taol (table) full of homemade instruments (acoustics and electronics) that will allow us to create our own sounds and to use it for live shows"
Vorbic releases VRB006: Flip Flop by Universal Materials
Flip Flop started around the "This is the Macrophage" track - a toe in the water to see how the pairing worked. Inspired by this, Dan and Howard went on to complete the remainder of the tracks.

Muertepop records, in a co-production with Peteran records, releases the first ep of the italian guy behind the moniker "All about Max". "Nothing to say" says a lot of things in a mix of intimistic electronic glitch and beautiful acoustic sound. Seven title tracks that suggest an autobiographic story told from guitar chords and sweet beats. Like eating a cake: the delicacy of Postal Service, Sufjan Stevens, The Album leaf and Death Cab For Cutie have inspired and sometimes influenced autobiographic facts told by Max. Brilliant oldskool early nineties techno meets the latest up to date vibes. Dream Generator, hailing from Toronto, Canada, gives us a nice north american influenced six track, verging on the commercial but with the added ingredient of european idm influences. an interesting crossover ep between the two continents and definately a very listenable release. As the artist himself writes '"Glazed" is a small archive of selected early works made between 1995~2005, music produced after the semi-experimental album release of "Current Travels" also he comments that 'Production and artistic approach since has taken a radical change, with a new album currently in the works'. So expect more from Dream Generator on Kahvi at a later date.
