B1t Crunch3r vs. Killeralien vs. Phonetic System - Neuro Science EP [PLANET015]
Tracklist:
1. Neuro Science (5:21)
2. Mentalism (5:20)
3. White Hole Nocturne (5:12)
4. Flux Capacitor (5:38)
Details:
Neuro Science is a collaboration with Killeralien (Gamma Audio, Subculture Music) and Phonetic System (Gamma Audio, Planet Terror). B1t Crunch3r's second Planet Terror EP also features appearances from Mouch, Dubbwune, Jay Cotton and Section 8. Expect his trademark blend of heavy dubstep beats and eerie atmospherics that made The Travelogue EP [PLANET007] such a hit.
You might remember slow by his "room phive"-release on Resting Bell last December, or for the "Love"-EP on Autoplate. If not, slow is the moniker of Sergey Suokas, a russian composer in the fields of techno (as Suokas) and soulful and hypnotic ambient-music (as slow).
His new release "dual box" can be seen as a meditation on the "Flower of Life". This geometrical figure is a composition of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged so that they form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry like a hexagon. In combination with triangles and cubes you get a sacred geometry which has references in most of the commons religions and spiritual ways.
Every single track on "dual box" is dedicated to a circle in the geometrical figure. Starting with "chinatown", you get from a very clam and percussive piece to warm multiple guitar-layers, repetitive synth-elements and little miniature compositions. A beautiful and complete concept.
And not to forget: Ian Hawgood mastered this release with calm hands and very sensitive ears. Thanks a lot for your work, Ian.

The EP is the foretaste of the upcoming "Viandanze" full album, which will be released in winter 2009.
Fabrizio Paterlini’s music has been defined as ambient, minimalist, graceful, sweet and relaxing: “a glass of red wine on a summer evening”, as he himself defines it.
Recentely, he released an EP - "Viandanze" a small preview of the entire full album that will be registered in 2009. In 2007, on the “Music Center” label, he released his debut CD, “Viaggi in Aeromobile” (Aircraft Trips): a delicate and elegant album that catapults the listener into the intimate world of the artist where he willingly allows himself to be transported by a sound of rare beauty.
Born in Mantua, Fabrizio started playing the piano at the age of 6. After many years studying classical music, he started perfoming with a number of bands, playing everything from progressive to hard rock, from jazz to pop. It was not until the end of the 90s that he decided to explore new musical paths, concentrating on the piano, the instrument that best expresses his inner world.

"Last night I saw a man in my sleep who brought me to a utopia of pyramids and sourceless rays of light and the gates read scrambled letters that presented themselves in a foreign manner beyond inherent human synthesis. And then liquid of gold reflecting blue began to drown me from above, building from the sky down. I was taken by hand from sunrises to sunsets, past horizon radars from orange to gray. And as the liquid began to recede, it strangled me from an everchanging origin, shaking and distorting and grasping strenuously, knuckles white, attributing omniscience to desperation.
My view dissolved to a spectator's view of myself in bed, choking.
And then I woke up in bed.
Choking.
The manifestation of psychedelia
from the view of my
Capitose Windowpane
Where everything they said had deeper meaning."
